MS Noordam in Sydney

Holland America Line’s MS Noordam was back in Sydney this week. She entered service back in 2006 and carries 1,918 passengers and 800 crew.

She is one of HAL’s 4 “compass ships” which are named after the points on the compass. Noordam in Dutch means ‘North’. Her compass sister ships are the Oosterdam, Westerdam and Zuiderdam. She may be in the Southern Hemisphere but her blue hull looks right at home on a sparkling Sydney harbour. Check out my photo gallery below.
